1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Bolt Claw platform at boltclaw.ai (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
Bolt Claw provides a link-in-bio service. You choose an address, publish a page carrying your links and branding, optionally collect messages through a contact form, and read view and click counts for that page. A REST API offers the same capabilities to your own systems. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
3. Account Registration
You must sign in using a valid Google account, or with an email address and a password; an account created with an email address and a password cannot be used until you confirm the address by following the link we send to it. Every account is given an organisation of its own, with you as its owner. An organisation can hold several workspaces and, if its owners invite them, other people, each with a role that decides what they may do in it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Subscription and Billing
- The Service has a free plan that does not expire and does not require a payment method. Every feature of the Service is enabled on it, within the free plan's allowances (how many pages, connected social accounts, workspaces and seats an organisation may hold, how many posts it may publish each month, and so on), which are listed on our pricing page. The free plan may connect only the social networks listed there.
- There are three paid plans, “Creator”, “Pro” and “Business”, each billed monthly or yearly at the prices shown on our pricing page. The plans differ only in their allowances; apart from which social networks the free plan may connect, no plan gates any feature. Calls made for an organisation on a paid plan to a social network that charges us per call (currently X) are billed in addition to the plan, at that network's cost plus the markup stated on our pricing page.
- All payments are processed by Stripe. You agree to Stripe's terms of service.
- Subscriptions renew automatically. A subscription belongs to the organisation it pays for, and an owner of that organisation may cancel it at any time through the Stripe customer portal, opened from the organisation's billing settings.
- Refunds are provided at our sole discretion. On cancellation, your pages stay online until the end of the period you have paid for.
- A plan and its allowances belong to an organisation and are shared by all of its workspaces. If an organisation holds more than its plan permits — after a cancellation, for example — we do not delete pages, we do not take published pages offline, and we do not disconnect social accounts or remove members. Adding more of whatever is over the allowance — such as creating a page, publishing a page that is not currently published, connecting a social account, adding a workspace or inviting a person — is suspended until the organisation is within its allowances.
- We reserve the right to change pricing, and the number of pages a plan permits, with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, billing mechanisms, or usage restrictions
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Publish a page that impersonates another person or organisation, or that is used for phishing, malware distribution or fraud
- Share your account credentials or an API key with unauthorized third parties
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms.
6. Your Page and Your Address
- You are responsible for everything you publish on a page, including the destinations you link to. We do not review or endorse them.
- Addresses are first-come, first-served across the whole Service. Registering one gives you the right to use it while your account is in good standing; it does not transfer ownership of the word to you.
- Some addresses are reserved because the site itself uses them, and that list may grow. If a reservation ever affects an address already in use, we will contact you before changing anything.
- Changing your own address releases the previous one immediately, and anyone else may then take it. Links already handed out will stop working. That is your decision to make and we cannot reverse it.
- We may suspend or remove a page that is used for impersonation, phishing, malware, or anything unlawful.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, including but not limited to Stripe, Supabase, Vercel and Cloudflare. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of these third-party services. Outages or changes to them may affect the Service, and we shall not be held liable for such disruptions.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Messages submitted through a page’s contact form are stored and shown to that page’s owner, who is responsible for how they handle them. Views and clicks are recorded as aggregate counts; no third-party tracking script runs on a page.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Bolt Claw and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you create or input through the Service. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BOLT CLAW, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bolt Claw, its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, your pages stop being served, and their addresses are released. Sections 6, 10, 11, 12 and 14 shall survive termination.
14. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Bolt Claw regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
17. Referral and Affiliate Programs
If your organisation runs a referral or affiliate program on Bolt Claw, the Referral Services Terms add to these Terms for that program, and the Data Processing Agreement covers the personal data we process for you in it.
If you use a Bolt Claw account to promote another business's program, the Partner Terms apply between you and us. What a program pays you is set by the business that runs it, in its own program terms. Bolt Claw is not a party to those terms, and never holds or pays that money.
How the referral features handle personal data is described in the Referral Privacy Notice.
